The grapes have a ton of juice in them. Can cut way back on the other added liquid.

Also mangos thicken up like bananas so be careful.

1. Fill Vitamix container with all ingredients in the order they are listed.
2. Start Vitamix machine on "Variable" 1 setting, quickly turn to 10 and then flip switch to "High" setting.
3. Use tamper to push ingredients down on the blade.
4. For a very smooth texture, run it at least 30 - 40 seconds looking for shiny smooth texture on surface of smoothie while it is running.

Wednesday's combination

This morning I made the following:

Keifer
Vanilla extract
2 bananas
Almond milk
Mots for Tots
blueberries
4 flourettes cauliflower
hand full of spinach
4" of a carrot
1 brussel sprout
1 orange
1 apple
ice
water

blend for about 2 min.

this makes about 3 servings

Orange Smoothie from Tuesday

Keifer about 1/2 a cup
vanilla extract - 1 cap full or so
vanilla almond milk - Whole Foods makes a great one. - about 1/2 a cup
1/2 cup Mots for Tots
Frozen fruit medley of Strawberries, Pineapple, Mango - from Target or Wal-mart.
1 orange - peeled
1 pear - I do either a pear or an apple, but typically not both
2 bananas
2" carrot
Brussel sprout
1 flourette broccoli
1 flourette of cauliflower.
scoop of ice and about 1/2 cup of water

blend for about 2 min.

this makes about 3 servings

Red Smoothie from Tuesday

1 cup - Mots for Tots apple juice - I use this because it is more water than syrup.  Some sugar but not too much.
cap full of Vanilla extract
2 bananas
frozen peaches - about 8 slices
blueberries - fresh ones that I froze - just about a small handful
broccoli - 1 flourette and since it was the last one of the bunch I also added the whole stem - I read somewhere recently that it was full of vitamins so I decided to give it a try.  It was about 3 inches long.
small handful of spinach
1 cored apple - throw out the seeds as they are toxic the rest of the apple is fine to put in the vitamix - stem and all
1 orange - just peel the orange rind off - but leave the white pulp.  It takes some practice and picking out the right oranges to do it easily.
about 2 inches of a carrot
1 scoop of ice
1 cup of water

Blend on high for about 2 min.

this makes about 3 servings
